This position will design local workforce development goals, strategy and policy in alignment with federal/state
mandates, Local Board(s) goals and priorities, regional economic needs, economic self-sufficiency
outcomes and relevant state agency plans. Analyzes labor market trends, program outcomes, and
funding opportunities to guide adjustments and strategy enhancements. Identifies and secures
appropriate revenue to address gaps in services.
Directs all functions of the Planning Department including developing the bi-annual comprehensive
workforce development plan; planning for all programs; tracking external environments impacting
local systems; and developing policies.
