School at Work® (SAW) is a proven career development system for low-skilled incumbent workers in the healthcare industry. SAW is a bridge to college enrollment and job advancement. Public workforce systems in Atlanta, Chicago, Hartford, New Haven and St. Louis have put SAW to work in their communities. Developed by Catalyst Learning Company, over 8,000 students nationwide have benefited. SAW was initially made possible by grants from the U.S. Department of Labor Employment & Training Administration.
